Che Noir
Che Noir represents Buffalo, New York as a rapper and producer known for her direct lyrics and production style reminiscent of mid-’90s East Coast rap. Her musical influences include Foxy Brown, Jay-Z, and the Notorious B.I.G., all of whom she listened to while growing up.
Her 2020 album As God Intended, produced by Detroit’s Apollo Brown, featured guest appearances by Black Thought (the Roots), Skyzoo, and Planet Asia. The same year, she released the EP After 12. In 2022, she released the self-produced album Food for Thought and in 2023 released Noir Or Never.
Che Noir’s music ranges from nostalgic reminiscences to crime-driven narratives, demonstrating her versatility as an artist. Her work includes a mix of solo and collaborative projects, showcasing her unique style and solidifying her place in the hip-hop scene.
