Sir Michael Rocks
Sir Michael Rocks is a name that resonates in the hip hop world. Known also as Mikey Rocks, he embarked on his music journey in 2005 as part of the hip hop duo The Cool Kids.
Rocks’ solo career took off in 2011 with a series of free mixtapes, and he also made guest appearances on tracks by artists like Mac Miller, Dom Kennedy, Jeremih, Curren$y, Freddie Gibbs, and more. His first commercial solo album, Banco, was released in 2014, featuring guest appearances by artists such as Too $hort, Mac Miller, Twista, and Iamsu.
Rocks’ music career is not just limited to The Cool Kids and his solo work. He was also part of the groups All City Chess Club, the “super group” P.O.C. (Pulled Over by the Cops), and The Toothpick Clique.
