Thirstin Howl the 3rd
Thirstin Howl the 3rd is a multi-faceted artist whose talents extend beyond rapping to include producing, authoring, and entrepreneurship. He is the owner and operator of his own label, Skillionaire Enterprises, and a founding member of the Lo Lifes.
In 1988, he co-founded the Lo Lifes, a crew that emerged from the union of two smaller groups: Ralphie’s Kids from Crown Heights and Polo USA (United Shoplifters Association) from Brownsville. The crew’s affinity for Ralph Lauren Polo became a defining characteristic, and their influence on hip-hop fashion is undeniable.
Thirstin Howl the 3rd’s music career took off in the late 1990s. He first gained recognition in 1997 when he was profiled in The Source’s Unsigned Hype column. His music has been featured on Lyricist Lounge, Volume One (“Bathroom Cipher”) and Soundbombing II (“Brooklyn Hardrock”). In addition to his music, Thirstin Howl the 3rd has made significant contributions to the world of fashion. In 2015, he launched a Lo Life clothing line inspired by vintage Ralph Lauren, in partnership with Willie Esco of Coogi.
